Each of my girls were chosen for their many wonderful qualities. They all have sweet temperments, and an extreme love for children, a straight topline and willingness to please. I would never breed any GSD that did not love ALL puppies and children.
I try to pick the best match to the stud to get the perfect all around result. Each has a unique personality, and it is amazing even the smallest traits that are passed.
As my girls get older and I retire them from breeding, I will place them in a retirement home that I feel is a good match. Unfortunately I cannot have all my girls up in the house, so they must be kenneled in rotation. I love them dearly and the best gift I could ever give them would be to be with someone that loves them so they can enjoy freedom and cuddles all the time.
